Jay Up By Jaillance Brut AOC Clairette De Die 12% 75cl

Clairette de Die is made in the Drôme, in the foothills of the Alps, and comes in two forms: the sweet, low-alcohol Tradition from Muscat, and this one, the Brut, made from the Clairette grape by the champagne method with a second fermentation in the bottle. It is drier, crisper and far less known. Green apple, lemon, white flowers and a clean dry finish at twelve percent. Serve properly cold at 8C as an aperitif, or with fish. A good deal cheaper than champagne and not pretending otherwise.
