Briottet Pamplemousse Rose Grapefruit Liqueur 18%vol 70cl

Pink grapefruit is a difficult flavour to put in a bottle — the bitterness is the good part and the first thing most producers lose — and Briottet, making liqueurs in Dijon since 1836, keep hold of it. This is fresh and zesty rather than sugary, with the pith and perfume of the fruit still intact behind the sweetness. Outstanding with tonic and plenty of ice, in a Paloma in place of grapefruit soda, or a splash in Champagne.
