Le Plan-Vermeersch RS-Suze La Rousse 14.5%vol 2022

Le Plan-Vermeersch RS-Suze La Rousse is a southern French rouge from a producer known for characterful, sometimes Syrah-led bottles with real personality. Fourteen and a half percent. Black cherry, garrigue, black pepper and ripe tannin over a warm finish. Serve at 16C with lamb, grilled meats or a hard cheese. Proper indie Languedoc-Roussillon red for anyone bored of anonymous supermarket Merlot, from a name that already has a following among wine obsessives.
