Porta Leone Marca Trevigiana IGT Vino Frizzante 10.5%vol 20cl

A little 20cl bottle of Venetian frizzante, mostly Glera with some Chardonnay, grown in the province of Treviso and given a second fermentation in tank at controlled temperature. Pale yellow, with Golden Delicious apple, Williams pear and white flowers, then a fresh and faintly salty palate with a soft, fine mousse. Young and lively rather than serious, which is exactly the point. Ten and a half percent, properly chilled, and one bottle is one generous glass. Good with anything fried.
