English Pet Nat Lost in a Field Frolic 9.5%vol 2024

Tim Wildman MW started Lost in a Field in 2021 to rescue the heritage grape varieties planted across England in the last century and turn them into pét-nat. Frolic 2024 is two white heritage varieties and one red PIWI from three vineyards in Herefordshire and Kent, and 2024 was a cool, difficult English year — just 1,589 bottles were made. Pale coral pink, foaming, with strawberry, red cherry and a fennel note. Zero sulphur. Gossamer light.
