English Traditional Method Sparkling Lark & Folly 11.5%vol 2006

Lark & Folly is English traditional-method sparkling wine, Chardonnay and Pinot-led in the Champagne method, aged on the lees before disgorgement. Eleven and a half percent or so. Green apple, citrus, a little brioche and a clean, dry finish with fine bubbles. Serve cold at 7-8C as an aperitif, with seafood or mild soft cheese. Proper English fizz for anyone comparing Sussex and Hampshire bottles with grower Champagne. Worth seeking out.
