Champagne Jean Paul Deville Brut Agape Magnum 150cl

Jean-Paul Deville is a grower in Verzenay on the Montagne de Reims, a grand cru village whose north-facing chalk slopes produce some of the firmest, most structured Pinot Noir in Champagne. Grower champagne means the family grow the grapes and make the wine, rather than buying in fruit. Agapé is the Pinot-led house cuvée, here in magnum, which ages more slowly and pours better across a table. Red apple, brioche, hazelnut and a firm chalky finish. Serve at 10C in white wine glasses.
