Crabbie’s Original Alcoholic Ginger Beer 50cl

John Crabbie began blending ginger on Leith Walk in Edinburgh in 1801, and the recipe still involves steeping ginger for up to eight weeks before it is blended with the other botanicals. The result is sweeter and softer than a ginger beer purist might want, but the ginger heat is real and it builds. Four percent, cloudy amber, and best served the way the bottle says: poured over plenty of ice with a wedge of lime. It also makes a very quick and very decent Moscow Mule.
