Rayas Emmanuel Reynaud Chateau Des Tours Reserve 2010 Vacqueyras

The second of the Reynaud wines we hold, and the more conventional of the two: Vacqueyras, from Château des Tours at Sarrians, in the Réserve bottling from 2010. Emmanuel Reynaud makes it the way he makes everything, which is to say slowly, with old vines, whole bunches and long élevage. 2010 was a superb southern Rhône year. Expect Grenache in its serious mode: red fruit turning to leather and garrigue, fine tannin, real length. Decant.
