Cantina Fiorentino Spumante Brut Cavallerizza IGP Salento 12%vol 2023

Cantina Fiorentino Cavallerizza Spumante Brut is a dry sparkling wine from Salento, made for aperitifs rather than for long cellar time. Green apple, citrus, a light floral note and a clean, dry finish with fine bubbles. Serve cold at 7-8C with canapés, seafood or mild soft cheese. Straightforward Puglian fizz at a sensible price, from a house that also bottles still Primitivo and Negroamaro. Worth seeking out. Worth seeking out.
