Billecart-Salmon Brut Reserve 75cl

Billecart-Salmon have been at Mareuil-sur-Aÿ since 1818 and are still run by the family, which in Champagne now counts as rare. The house style is built on a very cold, very slow fermentation, and the result is lighter and more precise than most: fine bubbles, white flowers, pear, citrus and a delicate biscuit note from the lees. Elegant rather than powerful. One of the best non-vintage Champagnes on any shelf.
