Bolleke de koninck 33cl 5.2%vol

De Koninck is Antwerp’s beer, and Bolleke is the nickname for the spherical glass it is traditionally served in, which became the name of the beer itself. Five point two percent, in a 33cl bottle: an amber Belgian ale, malt led rather than hoppy. Caramel malt, a little spice, soft bitterness and a clean finish. Serve at 6-8C. The beer Antwerp drinks, and has done for generations. Straightforward and honest rather than craft-trendy.
