Baron de Sigognac V.S. Armagnac

Armagnac is France’s other brandy, made in Gascony and distilled once through a continuous alambic rather than twice in a pot still, which leaves it with rather more character and rather less polish than Cognac. Baron de Sigognac is a family estate in Bas-Armagnac, the finest of the three sub-regions. The VS is the youngest in the range: rustic in the good sense, with prune, dried apricot, walnut and a warm, spicy finish.
