Wine Of The Week # 16 // Batasiolo Chardonnay Morino


Batasiolo, the wine cellar which besides having all its vineyards in the heart of the Langhe, a land known above-all for its great reds, producing many of the celebrated varietal wines grown in this region, as well as great whites such as Moscato d’Asti Bosc dla Rei, Gavi del Comune di Gavi and of course their Langhe Chardonnay Morino.

This wine has an intense straw like, yellow colour, clear and bright. A broad nose that is floral and fruity, with flavours of tropical fruits, citrus apples and sage with a good intensity and persistence on the tongue. The mouth is dry, pleasantly cool, with good structure and balance. 75cl // 12.5% ABV // £10.79
