The only beer exported from Morocco. Not that many beers hail from this part of the world, we count two others – Stork and Spéciale Flag, and despite these local products it is Heineken which is the most popular beer in the region. Go figure. Produced by Brasserie Du Maroc, in Casablanca from where it takes it name.
This is premium lager that is very quaffable and refreshing, an easy session beer to say the very least. There is toasted malts and barley sweetness on the nose, a hint of banana and essentially a light and delicate bouquet. To the taste there is an element of steel contrasted against a creamy sweetness. All in all a lovely beer, and a snippet at the price £1.59 // 5% ABV // 33cl.
